The people were very nice, but the pieces were way too expensive! I've worked with clay many years. There is no way the pieces would cost 10 - 100x's more than the cost to form them!!!!

As a business owner myself, I am highly disappointed with the customer service I received at this establishment. I normally don’t leave reviews but I wanted to warn others. After finding this place from tik tok, My friend and I scheduled a pottery class here. We love trying different art/activity filled classes in the Atlanta area. I felt like our class was very rushed. It was only the 2 of us in the class and it seemed like the teacher did not care to teach us or explain any of the steps along the way. We were so clueless because the lack of directions and explanation. I don’t believe she even knew how to properly explain the steps to us. Or maybe just didn’t care to be there/teach us. Additionally for the price we paid, you would think the owner/staff would want to create a nice and welcoming experience but sadly that was not the case.We then had to return today to pick up our pottery to paint. This time it was only us 2 in the establishment with an employee who again didn’t even care to provide us with good customer service. Very careless and nonchalant. Not an environment I would ever want to return to.We just felt so uncomfortable and unwanted there. I hope this review gives Art & Soul the chance to learn how to properly treat their customers and teach pottery at a beginner level without making their paying customers feel uncomfortable.

Excellent spot for a fun activity! I took my 8-year-old to paint on a Saturday afternoon. There are plenty of ceramic pieces to chooses from ranging from functional and sophisticated bowls, cups, and trays to fun and seasonal items like decorative figurines, pumpkin night lights (it's September), and cute wall signs. The price of the items includes paint and studio time. There are tons of stencils and reference books to help with ideas. My daughter commented more than once how peaceful the studio is and is already asking to go back. We spent about 2 hours in the studio and will return next week to pick up our fired items. This would be a great spot for a small birthday party or rainy afternoon.

We had a wonderful time using the pottery wheels during our lesson as we tried to make our bowls. It's harder than you may think! It was also a LOT of fun! Our instructor was super sweet and patient and we did end up with our pieces to be dried, which we will return to paint in a couple of weeks. It's definitely a messy process so wear old clothes. They offer a lot of premade items to paint so looks like it would be a good place to take even fairly young kids on a rainy day. Our lessons for making pottery were $50 each but we were busy for an hour and a half (close to 2 hours, actually) so that's not bad at all! They provide everything you need except the artistic ability. I seriously lack any so will return to paint what was supposed to be a bowl but looks more like a candle holder. Still, it's mine! And it was a great experience with my adult child.

GROUPON BEWARE: (may have to ensure space is available walk-ins are not welcome) But for the most part, it's a great place, they offer help, instructions, and ideas for completing your project.
